The visualization specifically highlights the Central, Southern, and Volga Federal Districts, which serve as the nation’s primary sugar-producing hubs.

In 2025, Russia’s total sugar production reached 6,346.4 thousand tons. The Central Federal District led production with a dominant 58.1% share (3,689.5 thousand tons), followed by the Volga Federal District at 20.7% (1,313.5 thousand tons), and the Southern Federal District at 17.7% (1,123.4 thousand tons). Together, these three regions account for the vast majority of output, while all remaining districts combined contributed just 3.5% to the national total.
