The chart below displays average wholesale prices for potatoes and vegetables by type (onions, carrots, beetroots, and white cabbages) in Russia in RUB/kg, excluding VAT. The data reflect pricing for a purchase volume of 20 tons, whereas large-wholesale transaction prices can be significantly lower.

These figures primarily represent weighted average prices for both domestic and imported produce. Imported products impact the average price only during a limited timeframe, specifically from April to July. Throughout the rest of the year, the market is almost entirely driven by domestic produce.

The statistics presented here exclude data for the Far Eastern Federal District.
