Apples: Average Small-lot Prices and Price Corridors (Average Minimum and Maximum) in Rostov Region, Weekly
The chart below displays average wholesale prices and price corridors for apples in in Rostov Region in RUB/kg, excluding VAT. The average minimum and maximum are calculated based on the 25% of offers with the lowest and highest prices, respectively, excluding outliers.
Small-lot prices apply to purchase volumes ranging from 15 to 30 kg. For orders of 300 kg or more, discounts of 5% to 10% are typically available, depending on product quality, the seller’s procurement costs, and customer loyalty.
While the Rostov Region is not a major apple producer itself, it is strategically located in the north of the Southern Federal District, which accounted for 31.2% of national apple production in 2025. Furthermore, the Rostov Region serves as a key logistics hub, routing fruit transport from both the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts toward the Central and Northwestern Federal Districts, as well as other parts of the country. Notably, the North Caucasian Federal District drives Russia’s apple production, generating 48.3% of the national total.
