The chart below displays the comparative dynamics of wholesale and retail beer prices in Russia. Wholesale prices represent producer prices, excluding excises and VAT.
Starting from 2022, retail beer prices reflect both domestic and imported beer. Prior to 2022, retail prices only covered domestic beer. This shift accounts for the sharp increase in retail prices on the chart starting in January 2022.
