Premixes: Average Prices in Russia, Monthly
The chart below displays average producer prices for premixes (for pigs, cattle, poultry, and other livestock) in RUB/t, excluding VAT.
These are weighted average prices across all manufactured products. Depending on specifications (composition), prices may vary significantly. Consequently, these prices should be interpreted solely as indicators of market trends.
Since a major share of premix ingredients is imported, prices are subject to fluctuations driven by the ruble exchange rate. Additionally, because it is a weighted average, the price can be affected by the dominance of specific types of premixes in total sales.
