Overview of wholesale and retail prices for strawberries in Russia in 2024–2026, as of May 20, 2026
According to Rusagridata partner data (ab-centre.ru), average wholesale strawberry prices in Russia as of May 20, 2026, stood at 302.3 RUB/kg. Prices fluctuated between 150.0 and 450.0 RUB/kg. In certain instances, wholesale prices exceeded 550.0 RUB/kg, as reported in AB-Centre’s fruit and berry market analysis.The average price minimum for wholesale was 212.0 RUB/kg, while the average maximum reached 408.9 RUB/kg.

Over the past week, wholesale strawberry prices weakened by 10.1%. A more significant price drop is being hindered by prolonged rains in several key harvesting regions (e.g., the Krasnodar Krai), which has somewhat complicated the harvest.
Over the month, average wholesale prices decreased by 41.1%, and year-on-year, they dropped by 2.9%. In addition to the seasonal expansion of domestic strawberry harvests, price dynamics in Russia are also influenced by the strengthening of the ruble (making imported products cheaper in ruble terms).
Average retail strawberry prices in Moscow (based on a cross-section of federal retail chains in the capital) amounted to 1,123.1 RUB per kilogram on the monitoring date. The average price minimum was 875.0 RUB/kg, while the average maximum was 1,373.3 RUB/kg.

Weekly retail prices for strawberries decreased by 3.1%, monthly prices dropped by 41.8%, and year-on-year, they increased by 10.4%.
Important! Berries in federal retail chains are generally sold in small-sized packaging, whereas bulk purchases are possible at fairs, markets, and specialized stores. Consequently, when comparing prices per 1 kg of product, the cost of berries in retail chains is typically somewhat higher.
